The Einstein Forum is a foundation under public law of the state of Brandenburg, which addresses the public with an innovative, international, and multidisciplinary scientific program. With conferences, workshops, panel discussions, and lectures, we offer the public the opportunity to gain an insight into the work of important contemporary thinkers. These thinkers themselves are encouraged to transcend traditional academic boundaries. The Einstein Forum thus opens a dialogue that is otherwise often limited to elites to a larger audience and promotes the democratization of the intellectual process. As an open laboratory of the mind, the Einstein Forum would like to contribute to renewing Potsdam’s traditional role as a center of enlightenment in the broadest sense.
