Opportunity Details
As part of the 2025 Youth Youth Learning Festival, the Cafés are intergenerational small group conversations for experienced youth activists and adult allies who seek to build relationships and co-create tangible actions in service of complex challenges in education transformation.
Each of this year's Cafés will be groups of 10-15 people (likely 8-10 youth and 3-5 adult allies) who meet each day of the Learning Festival (January 24th, 25th, and 26th) to connect, co-create, and explore this year's theme: "Education for the End of the World as We Know It."
Together with your cafe co-activists, you'll ask:
What does it mean to foster an education that embraces the end of outdated paradigms? Through these conversations, you will explore how to grieve what has been lost, hospice what no longer serves us, and renew a shared hope for a more beautiful, resilient world.
Over the three days they will be guided by this key question: 'What kind of education might enable us to face the end of the world as we know it and, in its place, to build many worlds where all life belongs?'
If this resonates with you, piques your curiosity, feels challenging (or maybe somewhere in between), they warmly welcome you to join them on this three-day learning journey.
