About Yale Environment 360 Film Contest
Opportunity Details
The competition showcases films that haven’t been widely viewed before and awards the finest environmental movies of the year from all across the world.
The contest judges include Oscar-winning documentary filmmaker Thomas Lennon, Pulitzer Prize winner and e360 writer Elizabeth Kolbert, and executive editor Roger Cohn of Yale Environment 360.
Benefits of Yale Environment 360 Film Contest
- The first-place winner will be awarded $3,000,
- The second-place winner $2,000, and
- The third-place winner $1,000.
- The winning entries will be featured on Yale Environment 360.
Yale Environment 360 Film Contest Requirements
- Submissions should be limited to 20 minutes and should center on an environmental issue.
- Not eligible are films that are largely about an organization or company and are supported by said organization or firm.
