About Webster Vienna Private University Scholarships

These scholarships are aimed at students with exceptional academic achievement and proven financial need. WVPU provides partial scholarships; the recipient must cover the remaining tuition fee.

The university offers WVPU scholarships at Distinction, Merit, and Honors. The level-specific amounts awarded per academic year are:

Distinction Level:

• Master: €8,000 per academic year
• Bachelor: €12,000 per academic year

Merit Level:

• Master: €5,000 per academic year
• Bachelor: €7,000 per academic year

Honors Level:

• Master: €3,000 per academic year
• Bachelor: €4,000 per academic year

Webster Vienna Private University Scholarships Requirments

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Application is open to all nationalities
• Provide a minimum GPA of 3.0 on the American 4-point scale
• Have advanced or native-level proficiency in English (B2 to C1)
• Demonstrate significant financial need
• Demonstrate exceptional academic achievement
• The applicants must have been newly admitted to a full bachelor’s or master’s degree program (not applicable for certificate or English preparation programs)

Required Documents

Please prepare and upload these supporting documents:

• Acceptance letter to a full degree program at Webster Vienna Private University
• Financial motivation letter explaining the applicant’s financial background and the importance of the scholarship
• Official financial documents (translated into English if necessary) detailing net earnings in euros
• An original essay in English (1,000 to 1,200 words) on one of the following topics:
  • Cultural heritage, skill, or talent that defines the applicant and enriches peers
  • Learning experience from a failure, describing the situation, actions taken, and lessons learned
