The University of Salford Health Heroes Nursing Scholarships are available to successful international students across a number of nursing and midwifery programmes in the academic years 2023-2024.

Higher education opens up a world of new ideas and intellectual growth. Therefore, to make sure international students can afford their dream degree in UK, the University of Salford has established the Health Heroes Scholarships. Applications are now open for the academic year 2022-2023.
The main purpose of this programme is to support aspirants who want to undertake an undergraduate or postgraduate taught degree programme at the University of Salford.
BSc Nursing Studies (Top Up)
Available to offer holders on our one-year nursing top-up programmes. This scholarship will reduce the tuition fee by £2,400.
MA Nursing (Adult)
Available to offer holders with a first or second class degree. This scholarship is worth £3,500 in year one only.
MSc Nursing
Available to offer-holders with a first or second class degree. This scholarship is worth £2,000.
MSc Midwifery
Available to offer-holders with a first or second class degree. This scholarship is worth £2,000.
You may apply for these scholarships if you have already been awarded a different scholarship. However, in line with our terms and conditions, you can only receive one scholarship – the one with the highest value.
There is no separate application process for these scholarships. You will be assessed when you apply for your chosen programme of study. If you are successfully offered this scholarship, you must accept your offer of admission and pay your tuition fee deposit by the deadline specified in order to receive the funding.
