Training
- Eligible Locations: Asia
Programme Phases
- Online Phase (3-4 months):
- Engage with peers and trainers through an online platform.
- Complete modules on peacebuilding tools and concepts.
- Time commitment: 4-5 hours per week.
- Face-to-Face Workshop (7-8 days):
- Travel to a designated location for intensive training.
- Develop an action plan for peace initiatives.
- Applied Learning (3-5 months):
- Implement a personal peace project with guidance from UNAOC trainers.
- Stay connected with peers and mentors.
- Results Sharing Symposium (2-4 days):
- Share experiences and achievements with a broader audience.
- Engage in discussions on intercultural dialogue and peace.

UNAOC Young Peacebuilders in South Caucasus and Central Asia Requirements
To be eligible, you must:
- Be aged 18-25 for the project’s duration (born between September 1999 and September 2006).
- Be a citizen of or currently residing in one of the following SCCA countries: Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan.
- Be active in a youth-led organization, network, or initiative.
- Demonstrate a commitment to peace, diversity, and nonviolence.
- Have sufficient command of English to participate in online and in-person activities.
- Hold a valid international passport (valid until at least April 2026).
Selection Process
Participants will be selected based on:
- Motivation and Contribution: Demonstrated commitment to the programme.
- Interest in Themes: Experience or interest in peacebuilding and intercultural dialogue.
- Experience and Potential: Early-stage involvement in peacebuilding with specific goals.
- Outreach Capacity: Ability to disseminate learnings to a broader community.
- Future Impact: Commitment to continue peace initiatives post-programme.
