Small Island Developing States (SIDAs), like Samoa, make up over half of the Commonwealth nations and are disproportionately impacted by climate change. In addition, communities around the Commonwealth are dealing with a number of issues, such as peace, security, and economic progress. More than ever, building robust and resilient societies is essential.
In the Queen’s Commonwealth Essay Competition 2024, participants are asked to think on how they overcome hardship and how culture and society may support resiliency and hope in a world where there are an increasing number of global issues.
