Opportunity Details
This esteemed programme offers professionals across various fields the opportunity to embark on short visits to the United Kingdom, fostering high-level study, research, and invaluable networking opportunities.
-Purpose: The fellowship aims to facilitate high-level study, research, and professional networking.
-Duration: Fellows can undertake visits ranging from two weeks to a maximum of two months.
-Eligibility: Pakistani nationals aged between 30 and 55 are eligible to apply, provided they have not studied in select countries in the last five years or received previous Charles Wallace awards.
Grant: Successful candidates will receive a monthly grant of £1,500, along with a contribution of £1,000 towards visa and travel costs.
Responsibilities: Award holders are responsible for arranging their own accommodations and making necessary arrangements in the UK in consultation with their host organizations.
Applicants who have studied in the UK/US/Canada/Australia/Europe/China in the last 5 years are not eligible to apply, nor are previous beneficiaries of Charles Wallace awards.

Short-listed candidates will be invited to an interview, either in person or on-line, in July 2024, and successful candidates will be able to take up their awards from September 2024 onwards.
Please note that neither the British Council nor the Charles Wallace Trust will be able to help applicants to secure invitations from UK institutions. All applicants are expected to make contact with prospective UK host organisations on their own behalf.
