The training will cover the key treaties and mechanisms of the African human rights system and the requirements for formal engagement with the system. The training will be facilitated by subject matter experts and practitioners drawn from academia, legal practitioners, civil society, and some of the African human rights bodies in focus.
The Centre for Human Rights will cover the following costs relating to participation in the workshop: travel, accommodation, meals, and certificates. Participants will be required to arrive at the venue of the workshop (in Pretoria, South Africa) on 16 October, attend the workshop on 17 and 18 October and depart by the morning of 19 October 2024.
