About The Fuller Fellowship in Peace-Building
Opportunity Details
The Fuller Fellowship is designed for early or mid-career professionals who are actively working to advance peacebuilding efforts through research, advocacy, policymaking, community practice, or other realms. Fellows have the opportunity to engage with the global peacebuilding community and receive support to enhance their professional development and work.
Benefits of The Fuller Fellowship in Peace-Building
The Asia Foundation will select a cohort of three fellows from the Asia and Pacific region. The fellowship includes:
- A study tour and peacebuilding exchange in San Francisco Bay Area, New York City, and Washington D.C. from October 13-26.
- Virtual seminars with The Asia Foundation’s Conflict & Fragility and Leadership & Exchange programs.
- A flexible USD $5,000 grant for each fellow to support their projects or professional goals.
The Fuller Fellowship in Peace-Building Requirements
- Under 40 years old (at the time of application and workshop)
- Citizen of one of the following countries or regions: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Cambodia, China, India, Indonesia, Japan, Laos, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, Nepal, Pacific Islands, Pakistan, Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand, Timor-Leste, Vietnam
- Passionate about contributing to peacebuilding in the Asia-Pacific region through research and/or practice
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Eager to build a professional network through collaboration with others in the field
- Demonstrated leadership capacity and at least 3 years of professional experience
- Must be driven to complete self-directed coursework and professional project plan.
- Must be able to commit to all program dates
