Benefits of One Young World Leading Asia Scholarship

The Leading Asia Scholarship covers the following items:

  • Attendance at the One Young World Summit 2024 in Montréal, Canada.
  • Hotel accommodation from September 17 to 21, 2024.
  • Catering with breakfast, lunch, and dinner provided.
  • Travel expenses to and from Montréal, departing from and returning to the same international airport.

Note: If selected, you’re responsible for your visa fees (165 Canadian Dollars plus local visa application center charges) and associated costs, including travel to and from the application center.

  • Have a proven commitment to delivering constructive change.
  • Demonstrate your ability to lead.
  • Is your work tackling important local and global issues?
  • Have a track record of coming up with creative and effective ideas

Selection Process

following are the selected processes:

  • Strongest applicants shortlisted by mid-May 2024
  • Individual contact by the One Young World team for shortlisted candidates
  • No guarantee of shortlisting or sponsorship
  • Priority to applicants from underrepresented countries
  • Priority to first-time Summit attendees, not Ambassadors
  • No response to individual inquiries about the selection outcome
  • No feedback provided for non-selected candidates
