Interns at the OECD work alongside policy experts, analysts, and specialists, assisting with research, preparing studies, analyzing data, and contributing to the creation of essential policy documents. OECD internships are available on a rolling basis. They offer flexible work arrangements, including in-person, hybrid, or remote options, depending on team needs. The OECD grants a contribution to living expenses of €1 000 per full month worked to interns located in Paris. Interns are entitled to annual leave that amounts to two and a half working days for each full month worked. French public holidays are also observed.
Internships are open for students who:
The majority of internships are based at the OECD’s headquarters in Paris (France). Internships are primarily allocated to OECD member country nationals, while also open to non-OECD Member country nationals for specific programmes and projects, including across OECD-affiliated bodies and agencies (e.g. International Energy Agency, Nuclear Energy Agency, Financial Action Task Force or International Transport Forum).

Internship duration
The duration of the internship is for a period between one and six months (renewable up to a total of twelve months), on a full-time basis (40 hours per week). In exceptional circumstances, part-time internships (minimum 20 hours per week) can be organised. The OECD encourages potential interns to pursue an internship of at least four months to make the best of their internship experience at the OECD.
