National Geographic Society Slingshot Challenge Requirements
- Open to applicants who are 13-18 years old and are passionate about their environment and community;
- Participation in the Challenge can be as an individual person or a team of a maximum of six (6) people.
Application Date and Process
- Join: Register for the challenge on Videos For Change. If you're under 18, you'll need a guardian's email and their consent to participate.
- Get Inspired: Explore Videos For Change to see example Slingshot Challenge submission videos and download the challenge toolkits.
- Dream: Get started on your idea. Sign up for a workshop, where you can brainstorm ideas, get answers to questions, and connect with likeminded peers across the world.
- Submit: Create and submit your 1-minute video detailing your idea for the chance to receive up to $10,000 in funding to bring it to life.
