Applications are open for the MS-CC Undergraduate Summer Internship in Climate and Data Science 2025. The Minority Serving Cyberinfrastruture Consortium (MS-CC) Undergraduate Summer Internship in Climate and Data Science is a 10-week paid internship program that will be hosted at Fisk University in partnership with Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee.
Opportunity Details
The internship will provide students with the opportunity to work with faculty mentors to apply computational and data-intensive approaches to climate science research. The first week of the program will provide in-person training and the remaining nine (9) weeks will include a combination of in-person and virtual mentorship, while working on the Fisk campus with other interns on a research project. At the conclusion of the internship program, students will present posters on their team research projects at one or more scientific conferences and/or events.
