Lead(H)er Fellowship, a collaborative effort between YouLead Africa, Plan International MEESA, and the African Union Office of the Youth Envoy, is excited to announce the call for applications for its 3rd Cohort. This fellowship is tailored for young women based in Eastern and Southern Africa, aiming to foster their leadership skills and aspirations in Politics, Economics/Business, and Peace and Security

Lead(H)er, a name derived from “she is a leader,” is more than just a fellowship; it’s a platform designed to nurture the talents and ambitions of young women across Africa. The fellowship seeks to provide a supportive environment for young women who may not have had access to regional or international opportunities, empowering them to make significant impacts at local and grassroots levels.
Fellowship Structure
The 3rd Cohort of Lead(H)er Fellowship spans over 5 months, featuring both in-person and virtual modules. The first module will be conducted in person, offering direct engagement and interaction. Subsequently, the second module will transition to a virtual format, incorporating online sessions and self-paced learning activities. Participants will also engage in personal assignments, group work, and supplementary readings to enhance their learning experience.
The fellowship is open to young women up to 25 years old who are nationals or residents of the following countries:
