Selected candidates for this program will serve as Horizons Fellows representing CJEA, gaining unique opportunities to:
- Attend the 2024 annual Horizons summit in Washington, D.C., with all expenses covered.

Horizons 2024 Fellowships: Empowering Voices for Change Requirements
Eligibility Requirements
- Candidates must have direct lived experience with the U.S. legal system and be able to travel to Washington, D.C., for the summit. Virtual participation in pre- and post-conference sessions is also required.
Priority Consideration Criteria
- Priority will be given to candidates with experience in pursuing education or workforce training during incarceration, expertise in postsecondary education, and regional expertise in specific states.
