Benefits of International High School Screenwriting Contest
- Each winner of the Climate Change Screenwriting Award’s feature, short, and other categories will get a complimentary screenplay analysis from ScreenReaders.
- The first, second, and third place winners in the feature and short film categories will receive certificates acknowledging their placing in the competition, respectively.
- The IHSSC and the Basel Agency for Sustainable Energy will each award the Climate Change Screenwriting Award’s first–, second-, and third-place winners certificates commemorating their accomplishments.
International High School Screenwriting Contest Requirments
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- High school students (ages 13 to 19) or an international equivalent are the only participants in the competition.
- Stories and characters must be unique works.
- You are allowed to submit an unlimited number of screenplays.
- Put any illustrations or other images you wish to use on the cover or title page.
- Screenplays must be at least 31 pages long for the feature category, 30 pages or fewer for the short screenplays category, and any length for the Climate Change Screenwriting Award category.
