About International Graduate Fellowships 2024
These fellowships are available to highly qualified international students willing to pursue full-time study of nine credits per semester toward a master’s degree. Applicants can apply to one of the graduate programs at AUC. The program is open to all international applicants in any discipline of graduate studies.
If you are applying as a new graduate degree-seeking student, full admission to one of the graduate programs at AUC is necessary. Please review the full requirements for AUC graduate admissions below to satisfy them. If you are a continuing student and want to retain the fellowship, you should maintain a GPA of 3.2 at AUC.
The fellowship’s maximum duration is five semesters and one intervening summer session. Also, the program includes a review every semester for satisfactory academic performance. Students applying for the Counseling Psychology graduate program should note that the duration is extendable to a maximum of seven semesters.
Responsibilities of Fellows
Following are the activities that applicants should follow:
- Fellows should complete 12 hours per week of related academic work
- Students should maintain a full-time status
- Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.2
- A teaching assistantship mandatory training that should be completed per university requirements if the fellow is involved in teaching assistantship duties

- Cover remedial English language requirements
- Monthly housing allowance or accommodation in the AUC residences at the AUC New Cairo campus
International Graduate Fellowships 2024 Requirments
All applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Fellows should be international applicants
- These fellowships are open to all disciplines of graduate studies
- New graduate degree-seeking students should be fully admitted to one of the graduate programs at AUC and satisfy the AUC graduate full admissions requirements.
- Continuing students should maintain a GPA of 3.2 to retain the fellowship
- All applicants should be in financial need
AUC Admission Requirements:
- Applicants must have an accredited bachelor’s degree with a sufficient academic record for full or provisional admission.
- Minimum requirements must be met for a graduate studies application to be evaluated.
- Additional requirements may apply based on the specific admission category offered.
- Program-specific requirements may differ or be higher as specified by the department.
- All submitted credentials must be in English or accompanied by an official translation.
Application Date and Process
The application process is as follows:
- The system will not let applicants apply for fellowships if they have not applied for their graduate admission application first.
- If the applicant has already or recently submitted a graduate admission application and received a student ID Number, please wait five working days before starting the online fellowship application.

- Enter your email username and password.
- Click on “Student Award and Financial Aid.”
- Click on “Apply for Graduate Fellowships.”
- Choose the “Aid Year” and “Aid Period” you are applying for and click “Continue.”
- Choose the “Graduate Fellowship Application”- upcoming semester
- Start filling in all the required sections of the graduate fellowship application
- After completing all the needed areas, each marked as complete, submit your graduate fellowship application.
