This award rewards outstanding achievement and career potential in the field of News Media. Through its Young Professionals Initiative, INMA seeks 30 rising candidates who are early career professionals with significant achievements, insights into innovation, ability to influence, and leadership potential. Also, candidates with likely management skills across advertising, audience, content and product, business intelligence, and leadership functions at media companies can apply for this opportunity.
This award is merit-based for individuals and a “30 Under 30” class representing the globally diverse markets news media serves race, color, creed, gender, and more. Those above 30 can also nominate a colleague via the same application form.

Candidates must meet all of the following criteria for participating in the INMA’s 30 Under 30 Awards:
- Applicants should be employees of a news media company
- Be under 30 years old as of 01 September 2024
- Have broad insights and potential to shape the news media industry
- Demonstrate expertise and accomplishments in their career
- Have soft skills as a leader or show talent as a learner, team player, and entrepreneurial spirit
