About India EVolve Innovation Challenge 2024
This challenge seeks to create the future of sustainable transportation by bringing together creative ideas and concepts that can be adopted and expanded particularly to lessen the effect of the last mile package delivery industry. It focuses on technology, social impact, governance, and financial feasibility.
While many last-mile delivery companies in India have expressed a willingness to investigate sustainable alternatives and acknowledged the need for transition, it is imperative that youth, civil society, government agencies, and policymakers actively support and encourage these companies and startups in their adoption of zero-emission last-mile parcel delivery solutions.
Objectives:
- Encourage young people to support and be interested in scalable EV transition concepts in India.
- Gain more comprehension and backing from the customer base
- Establish the environment for ideation and, ideally, work with businesses and government agencies to operationalize a few ideas that make the short list.
- Increase and improve media comprehension of the necessity of decarbonization
Benefits of India EVolve Innovation Challenge 2024
The winning teams will get ₹4.5* Lakhs in cash awards:
- Top Prize: The victorious team will receive ₹1 Lakh.
- Second Prize: Each of the two teams will get ₹75,000
- Third Prize: Each of the four teams will get ₹50,000.
India EVolve Innovation Challenge 2024 Requirments
Criteria:
- Teams of five people or less, led by young people (ages 18 to 38), are eligible to apply.
- One of the team members may be a professor at a university; that is, they may be older.
- Idea should facilitate India’s last-mile delivery industry’s quicker move to electric vehicles.
- The suggestions can help with one or more of the problems facing the last-mile delivery industry.
- Concepts must to be inclusive, scalable, feasible, and repeatable.
- They invite teams to take part in webinars with policymakers, business leaders, labor unions, and other stakeholders on the many issue statements that the organizers will host.
Application Date and Process
- Online Webinars: Teams that are interested in learning more about the problems might join online webinars on the subject.
- Application: The group must submit their ideas on the application form.
- Review: After reviewing the application, a panel of experts will select 20 of the finest concepts.
- Bootcamp: Consult with subject matter experts to improve your submissions.
- Pilot: Solutions that will be tested by a range of stakeholders with the participants involved
- Document Release: The top 20 solutions will be publicized and documented so that different stakeholders may benefit from them.
- Award: The top 7 answers will receive prizes.
- Final Pitch: Teams then use a presentation or video to submit their proposal to a panel of experts.
