Through this internship, you’ll develop your skills, gain insight into IFAD’s operations, and support impactful programs that aim to transform rural communities. IFAD interns also have the opportunity to pursue a second six-month internship, deepening their experience and understanding of different aspects of rural development.
This initiative is part of IFAD’s broader commitment to fostering geographic diversity and attracting talent from all over the world.
Candidates must meet the following criteria:
Be 30 years of age or younger.
Be enrolled in an accredited university or graduate school, have completed at least two years of undergraduate studies and have attended courses in the last 24 months; or have completed university studies at an undergraduate or postgraduate level within the last 24 months.
Be fluent in English. Knowledge of another IFAD official language (Arabic, French or Spanish) and/or any other language may be necessary, depending on the region of assignment.
