Benefits of IDEX Master Scholarships

Successful applicants will receive the following:

  • Scholarship Amount:
    • 8,000 euros for the first year of a master’s
    • 5,000 euros for the second year of a master’s or third year of an engineering degree
  • Payment Schedule:
    • The first payment will be in mid-October 2024 after confirmation of registration and attendance
    • Second payment in February 2025 after confirmation of attendance and participation in exams
  • Additional Support:
    • Assistance in finding student accommodation, subject to conditions

IDEX Master Scholarships Requirements

Please check these requirements if you meet to apply for the IDEX Master’s Scholarships:

  • Applications are open to international students
  • The following students can apply for this scholarship:
  1. Students currently enrolled in a university outside France
  2. Or who have obtained their last degree in a foreign university
  3. Or who have obtained their “baccalaureat” in a foreign university
  •  Applicants should apply for one of the Master’s or Engineer Schools at the aforementioned academic fields of Université  Grenoble Alpes (UGA).
  • Selection is based on academic excellence.

Selection Process

  • Initial application for a master’s or engineering program at UGA
  • Indication of interest in the Idex scholarship during the application process
    • Either online during the application submission
    • Or by contacting the relevant academic component
  • Evaluation of applications based on academic records and potential
  • Notification of scholarship results shortly after program admission results

Application Date and Process

Please follow these instructions to apply for the IDEX Master Scholarships:

  1. Apply for a Master’s Degree:
    • Check the list of available master’s programs on the UGA website
    • Apply for the desired program
  2. Indicate Your Wish to Apply for the Scholarship:
    • Indicate your interest in the Idex scholarship during the online application process
    • If not possible online, contact the academic component’s office or the program’s academic advisor
  3. Follow Up:
    • Await the evaluation of your application by the academic advisors
    • If selected, your application will be forwarded to the Idex committee for final consideration
  4. Receive Notification:
    • If awarded the scholarship, follow the provided instructions to confirm your allocation
    • Ensure all required documentation and procedures are completed for the scholarship disbursement
