- Tuition, fees, room and board, travel to and from Beijing at the beginning and end of the academic year, in-country study tours, required course books and supplies, a Lenovo laptop, health insurance, and a personal stipend.
Schwarzman Scholarship Program for Masters in Global Affairs, Tsinghua University, China Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 18 but not yet 29 years of age as of August 1 of their Schwarzman Scholars enrollment year.
- Academic Qualifications: Applicants must have successfully completed their undergraduate degree or first degree from an accredited college or university. All fields of study are eligible.
- English Language Proficiency: Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate English proficiency. Acceptable test options include:
- TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language) – Minimum score of 100 (internet-based).
- IELTS (International English Language Testing System) – Minimum score of 7.
- Cambridge English Qualifications – Minimum score of 185.
- Leadership Potential: Candidates should demonstrate exemplary leadership qualities and the potential to make a significant impact in their respective fields.
- Professional Experience: While there is no minimum work experience requirement, candidates with practical experience, whether through internships, employment, or volunteer work, are viewed favorably.
Application Date and Process
- Submit a personal statement and several essays outlining leadership experience, career goals, and interest in the program.
- Letters of Recommendation: Provide three letters of recommendation from professors, employers, or others who can attest to the candidate’s qualifications and leadership potential.
- Academic Transcripts: Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary institutions attended.
- Interview: Selected applicants will be invited for an interview as part of the final selection process.
