Benefits of the Scholarship include:

• Merit Scholarships are limited to 8 semesters for undergraduates, provided the minimum eligibility requirements are maintained.
• Merit Scholarships are limited to 5 semesters, for graduates or commensurate with the length of the program

East Tennesse University Scholarship Requirements

To receive an International Merit Scholarship at ETSU, students must:

• Be admitted to ETSU as a degree-seeking students
• Have, or plan to have, an F-1 or J-1 student visa
• Have earned a 3.0 GPA or higher in previous coursework
   
  • Freshman Applicants - 3.0 GPA in High School
  • Transfer Applicants - 3.0 GPA in previous university coursework
  • Graduate Applicants - 3.0 GPA in undergraduate coursework.
