About Civic Fellowship Program
Opportunity Details
During the program, fellows will develop sustainable, community-driven initiatives aimed at creating long-lasting impact. Through hands-on experience, they will engage with stakeholders and experts to better understand the nuances of these issues, devise actionable solutions, and implement them within their local communities. A vital part of the Civic Fellowship program is the establishment of Civic Clubs at participating fellows' universities.
These clubs serve as long-term platforms for student-driven civic engagement and action, ensuring that the work initiated during the fellowship is sustained and expanded beyond the fellowship period.
Program Overview
The fellowship is structured in three phases:
- Awareness: Fellows participate in hybrid workshops led by experts in their chosen focus area, building a deeper understanding of key issues. Capacity-building sessions will over both technical and non-technical skills.
- Engagement: Fellows collaborate with stakeholders to create omprehensive project plans. This phase ends with development conference where fellows present their ideas and receive feedback from experts.
