The HER Voice Fund (HVF) supports the meaningful engagement of adolescent girls and young women (AGW) and youth-led community-based organisations in Global Fund and related policy and program processes in 13 countries where the number of new HIV infections among AGYW is the highest globally and where the disparity in HIV risk between young women and men is the greatest. The HER Voice Fund is supported by ViiV Healthcare Positive Action and the Global Fund and implemented by the Global Network of Young People Living with HIV (Y+ Global).
Responsibilities
- Serve as the in-country representative for the HER Voice Fund, embodying its core principles and dedicating yourself to achieving their objectives.
- Lead the creation and execution of evidence-based advocacy agendas, respectful of human rights and transformative for gender, clearly communicating the needs and priorities of adolescent girls and young women (AGYW).
- Collaborate with the Country Lead to track country commitments and plans at both national and sub-national levels.
- Engage with grantees to offer support and enhance awareness of their initiatives.
- Advocate for the Fund in media outlets and share impactful implementation stories across various communication channels.
- Possibility of joining the Project Advisory Group to assist in the grantee selection process.
- Opportunity to attend regional and global meetings to voice the priorities of adolescent girls and young women in the HIV response.
- Provide reports on the activities of grantee organisations and contribute to progress reports for the HER Voice Fund.
- Report to the HER Voice Fund Coordinator at Y+ Global.

HER Voice Fund Ambassadors Requirements
- Must be a young woman or adolescent girl aged 18 to 28;
- Demonstrates passion and expertise in HIV prevention, SRHR, and general health;
- A self-motivated individual and dedicated team member eager to create impact;
- Proven experience in advocating for and addressing the unique needs of adolescent girls and young women;
- Understanding of local dynamics and established connections with networks and organisations focused on HIV, SRHR, and women’s health;
- Familiarity with national Global Fund processes is an asset;
- Willing to commit to a 2-year engagement with a minimum of 8 days a month;
- Dedicated to ensuring meaningful involvement of young individuals;
- Residing in Malawi, Tanzania, Cameroon, Eswatini, or Lesotho;
- Excellent English proficiency required (both written and spoken);
- Strong organisational and planning abilities;
- Competent in using computers and online communication tools, including reliable internet access and platforms such as Zoom, Google Meetings, or Microsoft Teams.

- A recommendation letter from a reputable local organisation working with AGYW in your country.
