EFCC Essay Competition for Young Nigerians Requirments

  • Be Nigerian citizens.
  • Be enrolled in a secondary or tertiary institution in Nigeria.
  • Tertiary Category: Submit an essay of about 1,500 words on how digital skills can be used to promote transparency in governance, focusing on originality and logical presentation.
  • Secondary Category: Submit an essay of about 1,000 words on alternatives to cybercrimes, assessing the clarity and feasibility of suggested solutions.

Note:

  • AI-assisted entries will be disqualified.
  • Children and wards of EFCC personnel are not eligible to participate.

Submission Requirements

  • Tertiary Category: Essays should be around 1,500 words.
  • Secondary Category: Essays should be around 1,000 words.
  • All submissions must be double-spaced, using Century Gothic font, size 14.

  • Tertiary Category Topic: “Using Technology for Social Good: How Digital Skills Can Be Leveraged to Promote Transparency in Governance.”
  • Secondary Category Topic: “Exploring Alternatives to Cybercrimes for Sustainable Development.”

  • Draft and edit your essay according to the category-specific word count.
  • Format your essay with double spacing, Font 14 (Century Gothic).
