The programme is an initiative of the British Council in partnership with the Embassy of Switzerland in Zimbabwe and is delivered by Kay Media Africa based in Zimbabwe collaborating with Reprezent based in the UK. This initiative is a key component of British Council's Creative Economy programmes designed to put people and their creative potential at the centre of sustainable growth, shaping an economy that works for all.

British Council Zimbabwe Music Connects Africa ZW Programme Requirements
- Applicants should be aged 18+ and based in Zimbabwe;
- Independent Artists not signed to a record label;
- Talent Managers with at least 1 music artist under their management;
- Must have at least 2 years experience with a proven track record of professionally released music online or performing live;
- Young people, women and those from underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged to apply.
