Course Modules
Introduction to Research Methodology: Overview of the research process, types of research, and formulating research questions.
Literature Review and Research Ethics: Conducting literature reviews, using reference management tools, and understanding research ethics.
Research Design and Sampling Techniques: Experimental and observational study designs, sampling methods, and sample size calculations.
Data Collection Methods: Designing surveys, conducting interviews, and using technology for data collection.
Referencing with Zotero: Setting up and using Zotero for reference management and best practices for citation and referencing.
Developing Research Proposals and Grant Writing: Structuring research proposals, writing effective grant proposals, budgeting, and timelines.
Data Management and Analysis: Introduction to statistical software, basic and advanced data analysis techniques, and qualitative data analysis.
Scientific Writing: Writing research papers and reports, structuring scientific documents, and understanding the peer-review process.
Dissemination and Publication Techniques: Preparing effective presentations and posters, communicating research findings, and using social media for dissemination.
Community-Based Research Projects: Hands-on experience through community-based projects, including data collection, analysis, and presentation of findings.
