Benefits of BGE Energizing Small Business Grants

• Eligible businesses located in BGE's service area can apply for BGE Energizing Small Business Grants of $20,000.

BGE Energizing Small Business Grants Requirements

Applicants must be a for-profit business and an existing BGE electric and/or gas customer in good standing with BGE. Other eligibility criteria include:

• Be a for-profit business that has been operating for at least one (1) year at the start of the application.
• In good standing (or on the way to) with the State of Maryland.
• A maximum of twenty-five (25) full-time employees.
• Annual gross revenues in 2024 of less than $7 million USD.
• Demonstrated need for funding to support business and serve customers.
