The Republic of Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Science and Education offers the Azerbaijan Government 100 Scholarships, “Heydar Aliyev—International Education Grant Program” for the 2024-2025 academic year. This government-sponsored scholarship is available annually for five years.
Opportunity Details
Established by the decree of President Ilham Aliyev on July 8, 2023, the program provides selected candidates with the opportunity to pursue studies in Azerbaijan’s leading universities, including preparatory courses and undergraduate, graduate, doctoral, and medical residency programs.
The scholarship will benefit 100 international students each year. Eligible candidates include citizens from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation, the Non-Aligned Movement, Small Island Developing States, and countries with shared cultural, ethnic, and historical ties with Azerbaijan.
