About The Orators Public Speaking Competition
The Orators Program is an intensive, in-depth public speaking competition. The program conducts thorough examination of oratory and leadership skills, which begins online, prior to the on-site program.
The Vision of “The Orators” is to build young Nigerian leaders by giving them the oratory skills, leadership wisdom and innovative abilities they need to excel in life and career.

The Orators Public Speaking Competition Requirments
- Must be a Nigerian citizen
- Must be aged 18 at the time of application and not older than 25.
- Must be currently enrolled in a University or college education or have graduated from a University/College.
- Must be WILLING and ABLE to attend the "The Orators Academy" in the chosen location.
- Must ADHERE to all Terms and Conditions of the Program
Judging Criteria
The Orators competition places a premium on holistic development. Contestants will be evaluated based on the following key criteria:
Criteria 1: Coachability - Demonstrated willingness to learn and grow from feedback.
Criteria 2: Research Rigor - Capacity to gather and analyze information effectively.
Criteria 3: Clarity of Thought - Ability to articulate ideas clearly and logically.
Criteria 4: Excellent Presentation - Strong delivery, stage presence, and audience engagement.
Criteria 5: Attitude - Positive mindset, grit, enthusiasm, and sportsmanship.
