Applications are open for the the Mastercard Foundation Scholarships at the Sciences Po Summer School. Scholarships for the Sciences Po Summer School are awarded in collaboration with a network of partner institutions authorized to nominate candidates. These scholarships are reserved for Scholars from the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program network who want to attend a four-week in-person programme.
Opportunity Details
During the Summer School June's session, selected students will have the opportunity to discover Sciences Po’s courses through a main course in social sciences (taught in English) or French language, and to participate in a tailor made course ‘Transformative leadership to design and scale solutions’ dedicated to Scholars, preparing them to build innovative solutions to tackle social and environmental issues.

Scholarships cover the full cost of tuition and living expenses in France, throughout the recipient’s time studying at Sciences Po.

As part of their application, candidates for the scholarship are asked to outline their diverse experiences, their vision of the issues that specifically affect Africa and explain how they want to become changemakers on the continent. The candidates’ answers are reviewed by the scholarship award committee.
Stage 2
The results of the attribution of the scholarships will be announced in February 2024.
Stage 3
Selected candidates must finalise their application at the Sciences Po Summer school following the instructions that will be sent to them by email at the time of their admission into the Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program.
