The Arqus Talent Scholarship is a prestigious award extended to exceptional individuals seeking advanced education at one of the following Arqus partner universities: Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius, and Wroclaw. This unique opportunity includes a compulsory mobility at a second Arqus partner institution, enriching your academic journey with diverse experiences and perspectives.

Benefits of Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund 2024

Selected scholars will receive a comprehensive package of benefits, including:

  • A generous subsistence allowance of €1,400.00 per month to cover living expenses, medical insurance, and materials.
  • Full coverage of tuition fees at the entrance university.
  • A special needs fund of €250.00 per month, aimed at supporting students with fewer opportunities, including refugees/asylum seekers, individuals with caring responsibilities, students with disabilities or chronic illnesses.

Conditions and Duration

The scholarship is structured as follows:

  • Subsistence allowance: €1,400.00/month
  • Tuition fee coverage
  • Special needs fund: €250.00/month

Master students can avail of the scholarship for a maximum duration corresponding to the regular length of their chosen program (12, 18, or 24 months), while doctoral students can receive support for up to 36 months.

Arqus Talent Scholarship Fund 2024 Requirements

They are looking for talented graduates and students who want to pursue a Master’s or Doctoral Degree at one of the Arqus partner universities (Granada, Graz, Leipzig, Lyon 1, Maynooth, Minho, Padua, Vilnius and Wroclaw) including a compulsory mobility at a second Arqus partner.

Priority will be given to refugees/asylum seekers, students with fewer opportunities and applicants with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree not obtained at the Arqus university where they will undertake the Master’s or doctoral studies or where they are currently enrolled.

Application Date and Process

In the following, you will find more information about the application and selection procedure. 

The first call, aimed at doctoral students only, is open from 31 March 2023 to 31 May 2023 (23:59 CEST).

The second call, aimed at Master’s students only, is open from 3 May 2023 to 3 July 2023 (23:59 CEST).

The third call, aimed at Master’s students only, is open from 2 April 2024 to 30 June 2024 (23:59 CEST).
