Her award was established to pay tribute to her life works.

APF/Division 37 Diane J. Willis Early Career Award Requirements

Candidates must:

  • Possess a Ph.D., PsyD, or EdD from universities that are approved psychologists.
  • Ten years or less post-doctoral.
  • Nominations from oneself are accepted.
  • Nominations are open to people from diverse backgrounds regardless of their age, race, color, religion, creed, nationality, ability, sexual orientation, gender, and geography.

Selection Criteria

Awards will be judged according to the following:

  • Compliance with the outlined program objectives and prerequisites.
  • Have significant professional achievements in enhancing public awareness of mental health and improving the well-being of children and families through policy changes and service enhancements.

Documents Requirement

  • A letter of nomination describing the nominee’s professional achievements.
  • Latest CV.
  • Two letters of recommendation
