In partnership with the British Council and the UK government’s GREAT Britain Campaign, Anglia Ruskin University is offering four scholarships to students in Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya and Pakistan applying for full-time taught postgraduate courses in all subjects starting in September 2025. GREAT Scholarships are jointly funded by Anglia Ruskin University with the UK government’s GREAT Britain campaign and the British Council. We are offering GBP10,000 towards tuition fees for one-year master’s programmes to students from Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya and Pakistan, who will enrol into Anglia Ruskin University in the 2025-26 academic year. Duration
The GREAT Scholarship applies to the first year of your full-time postgraduate taught degree.
Key dates
The deadline to complete the application form is 25 May 2025 end of day UK time.
They will aim to let you know if your scholarship application has been successful two weeks after the application is closed.
Value
This scholarship cannot be combined with any other scholarships or any early payment discount offered by Anglia Ruskin University.

Who is it for?
International students from Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya and Pakistan studying a full-time taught postgraduate degree starting from September 2025 on our Cambridge, Chelmsford, Writtle or Peterborough campus.

How they assess your application
The application will be assessed by a panel of ARU staff. They will notify the British Council of their decision.
Applications will be ranked based on the details provided in the application form and supporting documentation, in line with the GREAT Scholar Profile published by British Council. They may also invite you to an interview to talk about your application.
