International applicants in Korea are invited to apply for the 2025 Summer KAI-X Research Internship Program. This program offers an exciting opportunity for international students to research and innovate at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology -KAIST Advanced Institute for Science (KAI-X).
Opportunity Details
This seven-week program is for undergraduate (3rd or 4th year) and master’s students specializing in fields such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Brain & Cognitive Science, and Medical Science.
The program, held on the KAIST campus in Daejeon, South Korea, includes research activities in designated labs, cultural excursions, final presentations, and networking opportunities.
The permissible support encompasses the actual expenses for round-trip airfare,
with a maximum limit of 1 million KRW, and dormitory costs, which should not exceed 500,000 KRW. Additionally, a living expense support of 500,000 KRW will be provided.

Internship Period: July 1 - August 16
