Nala Feminist Collective invites young African women who are refugees, internally displaced persons or stateless to apply for I AM NALA Fellowship Programme for the period of July 2025 to July 2026.
The Fellowship focuses on capacity and technical support, mentorship, solidarity, access and resourcing for fellows who are aspiring or current political leaders who can play a critical role in negotiations, decision making, democratic transitions, reconciliation and other peacebuilding efforts for their countries of origin or host countries.
The Fellowship will serve and engage 30 young women political leaders from the The Great Lakes, the Sahel and The Horn of Africa (Burundi, Cameroon, Chad, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Djibouti, Eritrea, Ethiopia, The Gambia, Kenya, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, Uganda)
