Opportunity Details
Àkójọpọ̀ is thrilled to announce the launch of a transformative 10-week virtual program tailored for African arts administrators who are in the early stages of developing innovative ideas. This is a free program, in collaboration with our partners, is designed to provide professional development opportunities that support the growth and global integration of Pan-African music.
Program Highlights:
Professional Development Sessions: Held every Saturday at 6 PM WAT, these sessions will offer expert guidance and resources to help turn your ideas into impactful projects.
Virtual Internships: Selected participants will have the opportunity to gain hands-on arts administration experience through virtual internships at partnering arts organizations. These internships will be tailored to develop your skills in specific areas of arts administration that interest you. Although internships will be unpaid in our inaugural year, we aim to provide stipends for selected participants in future iterations.

Virtual Meet and Greet Orientation: Saturday at 6pm WAT on August 17th
Professional Development Sessions: Saturday's at 6pm WAT
Internships: Schedule will be based on pairing
To ensure all participants can fully engage in this program, it is required that each applicant has access to a laptop/computer device and a reliable internet connection.
