Opportunity Details
As a Cyber Intern within the Cyber Security Internship Program, you'll work on assessing, challenging and advising on infrastructure, network, platform, and software security services in the cloud. You may work in the front-lines in defending networks to analyze any security risk, install firewalls and encryptions, as well as monitor systems for any breach. You might work to perform tests on networks, probe their security, and come up with ways to defend the system against any vulnerabilities. Or you might be working to manage and maintain the upkeep of a computer network within Capital One.
The Cyber associates will collaborate closely with associates in Cyber, Technology, the lines of business, and risk management offices. You will evaluate and make recommendations to bolster and secure Capital One's cybersecurity. You'll have the freedom to explore different roles, teams, and technologies while zeroing in on the career that's right for you. The Cyber Security Internship Program provides you the framework to develop world-class technical skills and gain a comprehensive understanding of technology. This is a full-time paid internship program spanning ten weeks from June through August 2025.
